In the meantime, listen, y'all I was having a conversation with my Sis Eve.... Y'all know Eve, right? Yes, Eve from the Garden! Well she and I have been hanging out with a few of our other sisters in the Bible and I have learning and eating from the table of wisdom these ladies set and whew Chile! IT _ IS _ GOOD! Anywho - I couldn't hang on to all of what I've been learning from Eve, I just had to share this little bit of tea she spilled on the table, OK?
When Eve said, "Listen, being the mother of all Creation and the first of all women, I don't want to speak to just my ladies, I want to speak to the men too," I thought to myself "Oh, this is going to be GOOD!" When Eve talks we best listen! What I didn't know is that EVE has a crazy sense of humor too! (I guess when you literally have to the responsibility of getting the WORLD up and running, you have to have one, right? LOL)
So listen, here's the tea: Eve gave 7 Relationship Rules for all of the Adams (the men) out there - all of which have gone unspoken, until now...
Eve said:
Men,
If you stay out too late, check your your dinner before you eat it.
I know she cute, but if you don’t check her sometimes, both of y’all gon’ end up in trouble.
It’s ok to say, “No.” Where she gon’ go for real? the Garden ain't but so big.
You might work in a jungle with animals, but you don’t have to act or smell like one of them.
You were eating before she showed up, don’t sit around hungry waiting for her to fix your food.
Let her help you, it’s a reason why you had to take such a long nap.
Don’t go along with it, then try to blame her. GOD knows what really happened.
Whew! We all like to fall out on the floor when Eve let these rules loose! Anointing oil, holy water and edge control was all over the place!
Chile, I said, "The Mother has spoken!"
