While we are all unique, beautifully-crafted individuals, we all share quite a few common needs, goals, and desires.  Among other things, we share a desire for community, for family (blood or otherwise), and a desire to be embraced.  Simply put, I believe we all just want to know that we're not alone in this big, crazy, beautiful, and sometimes scary, world.
